JACK KAPALA · FOUNDER OF SUCCESS SEEKERS
A business owner. A marketer. Always a student.
I’ve spent decades around the home-business industry. I still believe in what it can offer people—and I believe we serve it best when we keep our feet on the ground.

It started by accident in 1985.
I wasn’t looking for a career in the home-business industry when I was first introduced to it. But I was hooked. Since then, I’ve been a participant, a student, and a champion of this business.
I’ve seen opportunities presented across kitchen tables, through direct mail, over the phone, and on computer screens. I’ve seen good ideas take hold. I’ve also seen what happens when excitement runs ahead of the fundamentals.
My background isn’t a straight line.
Over the years, I’ve owned a music store, built and developed homes, worked as a general contractor, and built businesses online. Those experiences taught me to pay attention to the customer, know what I’m offering, and follow through on what I say.
Today, my focus includes affiliate marketing, email marketing, and helping marketers organize their work. I’m the founder of Success Seekers and the creator of Affiliate HQ, a workspace built around a problem I know well: having the pieces of your business scattered everywhere.
Why this site exists
JackKapala.com is a place for useful ideas, honest perspective, and lessons you can put to work. Some articles come from experience. Others explore tools, habits, and questions worth thinking through.
You’ll find affiliate marketing, network marketing, content, email, and AI in the mix. The thread running through all of it is simple: understand the people you’re trying to help, earn their trust, and give them something useful.
Away from the keyboard
I live in Powers Lake, Wisconsin, with my wife, Julie, and our Goldendoodle, Wrigley. Family, music, baseball, boating, and a good meal all have a place in my life. I’m retired from traditional work, but I still like having something to build.
What you can expect from me
- Practical ideas you can use without a stack of new tools.
- Respect for marketers at every stage, including those starting a new chapter later in life.
- Clear disclosure when I’m sharing an affiliate recommendation or one of my own products.
- A willingness to ask questions, keep learning, and change my mind when the facts call for it.
Glad you found your way here.
Jack Kapala
