Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 25, 2026

Success Seekers LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates JackKapala.com, a marketing publication presented by Jack Kapala. This policy explains how we handle personal information through this publication, including its development version at jackkapala.com. It does not replace the privacy notices for separate products, applications, or third-party websites.

1. Who is responsible and how to contact us

Success Seekers LLC is responsible for the personal information it collects through this site. Use our Contact page for privacy questions or requests. Start your message with “Privacy request” and give us enough information to understand and respond. Please do not send passwords, payment details, or identity documents in your initial message.

2. Information you give us

  • Contact requests: Your email address, name if provided, message, and any information you choose to include when you email us. Messages are processed in our support mailbox. A web contact form is not currently enabled. Sending a message does not enroll you in marketing.
  • Comments: Where comments are available, we collect the comment, name, email address, optional website, IP address, and browser information used by WordPress for moderation and spam prevention. Approved comments and the display name you provide can be public. Your email address is not intentionally displayed with your comment.
  • Newsletter: When you subscribe, we collect your email address and the optional name you provide. ActiveCampaign processes the signup and helps us manage subscriptions, send educational updates and promotional emails, and honor unsubscribe requests. Its systems may also process submission time, IP address, browser information, subscription status, and delivery records. We use your signup choice to send the marketing described on the form. You can unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email or contact us.

Marketing emails may use open-detection images or tracked links where enabled in ActiveCampaign. These can record an apparent open or link click and related technical information; privacy features in email software can make those signals inaccurate. Blocking remote email images can reduce open tracking. You may unsubscribe or contact us about your preferences. We have not installed ActiveCampaign site-tracking code on this publication as part of the signup integration.

3. Technical information and cookies

When you request a page, our hosting and delivery services process technical information such as your IP address, requested URL, date and time, browser details, and security or error information. We use this to deliver the site, diagnose faults, maintain performance, and prevent abuse. Our current hosting is provided through Nexcess/Liquid Web; WordPress and supporting caching software run the site.

Where comment avatars are enabled, WordPress may send a hash derived from a commenter’s email address to the Gravatar service to request an avatar. The hash is still associated with an email address; this is a separate third-party connection. WordPress can use cookies for administrator login and, when you choose the option, to remember comment details. A contact form has been prepared with WPForms Lite but is not active. Its optional cloud entry-backup service has not been enabled. See our Cookie Notice for more detail and choices.

4. Optional videos and external links

Video thumbnails are hosted on this site and link to YouTube. We do not load an embedded YouTube player when you view these pages. Clicking a video thumbnail or “Watch on YouTube” link opens YouTube, where Google/YouTube processes information under its own policies.

You can read this site without visiting YouTube. If you choose to visit YouTube, your browser settings and Google’s privacy controls provide choices for that service.

Third-party links, including affiliate and product links, take you to services operated by others. Those services may collect referral, cookie, account, purchase, or other information under their own notices. We may receive referral or commission reports connected to a purchase. The information a seller provides depends on its referral program. We do not collect payment-card details through this publication.

5. Why we use information

  • To deliver and secure the site and investigate errors or misuse.
  • To answer your messages, handle corrections, and respond to privacy requests.
  • To moderate and display comments you submit.
  • To maintain records of business communications, referrals, and transactions where relevant.
  • To meet legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.
  • To send the newsletters and promotions you request, manage subscription preferences, and maintain records needed to honor your choices.

Where European or UK data-protection law applies, our relevant bases include legitimate interests in operating a secure publication and responding to inquiries; your consent for optional technologies or marketing where required; steps needed for a requested service or contract where relevant; and compliance with legal obligations. We consider your interests and rights when relying on legitimate interests. You can ask us about, or object to, that processing.

6. Who can receive information

We use hosting, website-maintenance, security, form-processing, and email-service providers to operate the site and handle correspondence. People authorized to administer the site or respond to requests may access information needed for those tasks. ActiveCampaign receives subscriber information to process signups, manage our mailing list, and deliver email. Google/YouTube processes information when you follow a video link to its service. Comments you submit may be visible to other visitors if approved.

Information may also be disclosed when legally required, to protect rights and security, with your direction, or in connection with a business transfer subject to applicable law. We do not sell contact-form messages or email addresses for money. Third-party video and referral services have their own practices; applicable laws may define “sale,” “sharing,” and targeted advertising more broadly than an exchange for money.

7. International processing

We operate from the United States, and the site is intended for adults who may visit from different countries. Hosting, email, video, and referral providers may process information in the United States or other countries. These countries may have different privacy protections. Where applicable law requires a transfer safeguard or other transfer mechanism, the relevant arrangement must be in place. Contact us for information about the providers and safeguards relevant to your information; we do not ask you to waive statutory transfer protections by browsing this site.

8. How long information is kept

We keep subscription information while your subscription is active and reasonably needed to deliver the requested emails. If you unsubscribe, limited suppression and consent records may be retained to honor your choice and meet legal obligations. We keep inquiry correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to respond, handle follow-up, and document the matter. We consider the nature of the request, whether it remains open, applicable recordkeeping duties, dispute periods, and whether the information remains necessary. Approved comments and moderation metadata may remain indefinitely while the relevant content is available, unless removed or otherwise required by law.

Hosting, security logs, email copies, and backups follow the retention settings and operational requirements of the systems holding them. A deleted item may remain in protected backups until those backups rotate. We restrict further use where required. We may retain limited records to honor an opt-out, comply with law, prevent misuse, or resolve a dispute. Contact us about the retention of a particular record.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location and the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; opt out of certain sales, sharing, or targeted advertising; and appeal a decision about a request. These rights can have exceptions. We do not claim that every regional privacy law applies to every visitor or to this business.

Email [email protected] or use the mailing address below. Our Contact page lists these routes. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity or an authorized agent’s authority. We will explain a refusal or limitation where required and respond within applicable deadlines. We will not discriminate against you for exercising rights protected by law. Withdrawing consent does not undo lawful processing before withdrawal.

If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also complain to your local data-protection authority, including the UK Information Commissioner’s Office where appropriate. You do not have to contact us before contacting a regulator.

10. Security and children

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect personal information. No website, transmission, or storage system is completely secure. Please share only what is needed for your request.

This site is intended for adults age 18 and older. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly seek personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

11. Changes to this policy

We will revise this policy when the site’s practices change and update the date above. Where required, we will provide an additional notice or obtain consent before using information for a materially different purpose. A revised policy does not by itself supply consent.
